...Blowing and drifting snow will cause hazardous driving
conditions today...

Northwest winds will gust to between 30 and 35 mph this afternoon
and evening. Widespread snowfall of 3-8 inches that fell this
morning will easily be blown onto area roadways. This will cause
near whiteout conditions across the area, especially to areas
exposed to northwest winds through this evening. Motorists should
use caution as snow will likely blow over roadways, covering the
pavement and producing slippery conditions.

Good Grief! Whatever is remaining here in Aurora is WET!!! No blowing, just icing!

Have to state this is the best New Years of all! Beloved, Jon had another stroke (ya third)! This one was even on both sides of his brain and he is doing better than ever!!! A Freaking miracle!

Spent New Years Eve by my self (haven't done so for six years), then, Jon comes home!
Hey! If there's anything you get out of this year...get perseverance! We're in for the long haul folks...That's what the BEST of life is about! Cause the Best is YET to happen!

Horrible again. Was supposed to be a blue dome sky today but no sun all day. Going to Bredon Hill tomorrow and it is expected to be sunny at the top.

Best of the last week of 2018:

Partially frozen harbour on Christmas Day:




Partially frozen river in a sheltered spot from the strong streams that otherwise keep it flowing no matter the temperature:




Beautiful Vivesta north of Oxelösund's downtown on the 28th:







Almost frozen water down there, probably about 1°C SST's that far inside the bay.










Fragile ice at Djupvik east of Nyköping two days later:




Don't cut over that ice...







Glorious sunset light reflecting over the icy road:




The post-sunset light made the trees look like they were on fire in an optic illusio
