It's to be expected in Anchorage, Fairbanks-most locales in Alaska. SE panhandle region from Juneau south only a 50% chance at best.

Thanks I am not too knowledgeable about Alaskan climates but I know some parts are actually fairly mild ? I was surprised because the above poster has a long membership and many posts so I thought he would know more about the weather there. Thanks.

The southeast parts of Alaska along the coast with oceanic climates are quite mild by Alaskan standards but they also get tons of rain such as

Barely a white Christmas here. Just a dusting of snow, but at least snow. Some might not count it, but I do. I've had 23 non-white Christmases so far in my life, and 2 white.
