It's a desert at the very tail end of the tropics but with the coldest month at 19.2ºC it makes the tropical threshold. It is very seasonal as far as tropical places go, with a 17.6ºF/9.8ºC variation between the warmest and coolest months. Sunshine hours are definitely over 3000. Water temps look similar to Miami Beach. Sometimes humid but not every day like in a typical tropical climate.
I give it a C+, pretty good for a desert. I like how it retains a bit of seasonality.
Miles better than Southern Florida, but still far from ideal due to the extreme daytime temps for summer along with winters that are more or less ideal for a summer. Individually, those months are great, but coming from the tropical heat season, I'd think it'd be a bit too much even then. Even so, it's rather close in a climate battle with my own climate, ultimately coming just short due to me not knowing how I'd react to such an extreme climate. It's pretty high by tropical standards anyway, D+ bordering on a C-
At least it's hot in the summer, has a little seasonal range, and isn't the same year round. That bumped its score up to a Z plus.
