The climate table is outdated and probably wrong. There is no way a month at a high of 41.2 C can be surrounded by months at highs of 37.3 C and 36.8 C in a tropical climate while having more rain than both of those months. Also, the small climate chart shows no months above 38 C. I looked at the Wikipedia source given and this is the correct data for 1981-2010: http://www.imd.gov.in/section/climat...e/madurai2.htm. I'm going to edit the climate box.

Based on the correct data, Madurai gets an E.

Yes. Also why 41.18 instead of 41.2?

Grade: 23.9% / F-

Decent enough precipitation for most of the year and some seasonal range, albeit from warm to very hot, can't save this climate from the gutter.

Winter mean / Summer mean / Seasonal range / Precip / Seasonal lag / Snowfall / Record range*

0 / 55 / 32 / 78 / 100 / 0 / 18
