17F and snowing here right now.

It rained all day yesterday, and then today I woke up with a light dusting of snow on the ground. The low tonight here is supposed to be 2F, and I’d say we will probably get about an inch of snow total by tomorrow morning.

I think this snow is actually lake effect snow from the NW flow rather than snow from the low. So I guess this technically should’ve been posted in the winter thread instead.

Soaked from the rain falling on me but I love it! Better than boring heat and sun.

The worst, like shoveling concrete. But if that freezes it's more of a hassle.

Temperature is dropping. It was above freezing only for an hour (noon time). Lightly snowing now.

Last gasp of snow from this storm?

I'm in SW New Hampshire (near Keene). Here's my back yard on Saturday before the storm started ...

My back yard earlier today, after most of the storm had passed ...

We didn't get much -- maybe 6" of snow overnight, plus I'm sure some ice this morning (haven't looked too closely). I haven't snow-blown yet as it just started snowing again a few minutes ago (before that it was some sleet/freezing rain). My street has not yet been plowed so no one is going anywhere. No power outages around here as far as I know, and I THINK the worst of the storm has passed, so I guess we're OK (knock wood! ).

Would love to see more photos, especially from those of you who got lots of snow!

=====

ETA: looks like the snow has finished so it's time to go outside and snow-blow! Fun, fun ... not!

I'll grab some maps tomorrow.

This says it all... Pacific always provides the most moisture with a storm but also too much warm air.

40 degree+ heavy rain in Plymouth MA has now given way to freezing temps and high wind. I am watching the pond behind my house go from being completely thawed during the rain today to being almost completely frozen (including waves frozen in place) within just the past hour. Get the last of the shoveling in because it is all going to be frozen soon. Stay warm everyone!

Snowing again - 5:30 PM
edit #1: Snowing at a good clip - 5:45 PM

Nothing showing up on radar though. Strange

edit #2: ok, this is starting to get a bit ridiculous now. Goes down to flurries, and suddenly the air is full of flakes. Very very strange. Snowing at a good clip again 5:50 PM
edit #3: 6:04 PM and still snowing

I live in Southeastern Pa. (a Phila. suburb just 20 minutes west of Trenton). We got a dusting or so -- maybe an inch at most. Can't remember if it was late Friday night or last night, that's how inconsequential it was. No need for snow plows or even minor shoveling. But it is COLD -- in the low teens.
