You live in New York, right? It's -14°C, and at that temperature you can guarantee lots of snow on the ground here.

No snow in NYC, all rain. And a fast temperature crash as forecast. Storm track was a bit more inland bringing more rain and further inland, more ice than originally forecast. Unimpressive snow totals. Though some of upstate NY & southern Vermont got over a foot

I just hope we got enough rain and warm winds yesterday before the temperature dropped to melt off the ugly snow piles that were built up by a smaller storm a week or two ago. They just get blacker and blacker as days go by. Scary how bad the air still is.

Snow Cover past 4 days. You can see where the snow fell with this latest storm.


And BTW.... Parts of Virginia has had snow on the ground for 7 days now.
