Well, I see average 50F in Reykjavic, and someone said "warm = 60F".
I would say "warm" is 80F and above (27C) at least.
50F certainly is NOT "warm".
Not that I wouldn't like to visit there someday.
It's all a matter of personal preference. For me, 'warm' is 85-95, anything less than 80 is 'cold'. Mrs. Z thinks I'm nuts. Skin-diving off the Dry Tortugas in June with a water temp of 80, I had to keep getting back in the boat to warm up.
I personally would not consider it to have a warm summer as I know it; warm summers range around 72 F-77 F.
I find Reykjavik's summers to be decent in that they are mild and it's unlikely they will end up with an ugly heatwave. It's one of the places I would love to visit someday.
It has 155-174 hours of sunshine in summer so yes it is sunny.
Out of a possible 630+ hours in June? That’s under 25% of possible sunshine so absolutely not
