Have already written this one off in the Midwest U.S.
We've been in the same pattern for 6 years, and it won't change until the solar activity once again reaches its' peak cycle.
At or below normal temps, and wet.
4 of the top 10 wettest years EVER have occurred in this decade, since they began keeping records in the 19th century.
The summer of 2016 had significantly higher than average temperatures, at least in the Indianapolis area even though it was humid and wet. You might be right about your area though as only you would know the weather for your area

June and July of 2016 was way below normal on rain in my area and hot temps.
A warm and wet summer YES! Well, I'm on the borderline of warm and neutral in that NOAA map, and barely in the "wetter than normal" zone. Summer temperatures where I live in an average summer are adequately warm for my tastes though.
I hope we get lots of summer days with highs in the 90s F / 32-38 C and an afternoon thunderstorm. My ideal height of summer (late June - mid August) day has a high of 92 F / 33 C and an afternoon thunderstorm that lasts for maybe 30 minutes.
With 10 days left of May this is what the CFSv2 is currently showing for June. I don't buy it. There's going to be a big center of below normal temps in the Great Plains and maybe into the Midwest. Wait and see.
According to this 1968-69 and 1979-80 along with 2004-05 are analog years. Summer of 69 we had a very cool June, a coolish July and a warm August. Summer of 80 we had a cool June a very warm July and August. I can't understand how 2005 is an analog year. That summer was dry and hot in the Midwest. Exact opposite of what's happening now. I can't imagine the rains will just switch off like a light.
Unfortunately, this is probably what June will look like. The CFSv2 is on crack.
Just keep it mainly sunny around here and we're good
