After a not that hot start to summer in Dallas, definitely feeling it today. Earlier was 93 with a dew point of 77 which I haven't felt since last summer in Houston. Supposed to get up to the upper 90s tomorrow and Friday.

High reached 80 degrees here by IKK. MDW 75F, and just 72F at ORD, but temps went south quickly today. Only in the 50s and low 60s right now. Rain coming

Sounds like the place to be.

Another uncomfortably muggy day here. Such a contrast compared to the first half of the month. Currently 70 F with a dewpoint of 67 F...forecast low of only 67 F tonight. Rain expected tonight.

Anyone in the northeast has no reason to cry about missing summer. It's going to be in the 80s next week for pete's sake.

Chemult, OR got a 30ºF low yesterday. I have been to south-central Oregon many times. Not unusual to see frosts in July and August there.

Anyway, the PNW is cooler than average. Can you believe it? I can't.

I've worn a sweater for pretty much all last week. What kind of summer is that? A couple of 80s isn't going to change the fact that this summer has been completely disappointing so far. 2016, 2010, and 2012 summers are rolling in their grave

Riders on the Storm. It's been warm and extremely humid during the day, but thankfully cool over night. It's just 70F now, but will be in the upper 50s for the next two.

This reminds me of two things. The first is the year that I didn't plant the tomatoes in the yard until the first week of July. It was a very cool and rainy spring. That was in the 2000s.

The second is that my Aunt Thelma was terrified of thunderstorms because of the bombers during WWII in England. The target was the industrial town about 15 miles away, but they'd drop them anywhere during a dense fog or severe weather event.

I think those that like and expect big heat in June are getting worried that there's only 2 more months for it now. But they forget September has been hot and humid month in recent years. lol

Another overcast morning as the front is inching north now. This front has been over us for 4 days. Temp range very tight in the 60s. Warm nights, cool days.

Only 3 hours of sun in past 108 hrs.

Rain coming. NJ got hammered past 24hrs some areas with 5"+!

June gloom. So cloudy for a summer month
At least an above average temperature regime is now in the forecast. No heatwave but warm tropical air will at least make it actually feel like it's summer here
