ORD officially 89f today. MDW, IKK, the NWS/Chicago weather office in southwest suburban Romeoville, Rockford, Aurora, even Chicago Executive airport 10 miles north of ORD hit 90F+. I don't know why ORD always seems to have a lower temp then surrounding stations

^It depends on the humidity, but in general I think 86 is pretty freakin bad. You probably just have high heat tolerance, potentially from living in the desert.
Then again, when people claim in midwinter that 20F is "unbearably frigid" I am also extremely skeptical of their claims, so there's also a mental aspect to it which correlates to one's preferences.

After my recent trip to Montana, I'd say I'm definitely acclimated to Phoenix. Highs were only in the 50s all 3 days I was up there, and I was cold even with a jacket on. While a couple days later I was in Las Vegas where it was 102°F, and I was perfectly fine
It's been wet here recently but don't want a drought. My area's forecast looks fairly normal.
We've been getting a lot of funderstorms, some days that's held the max temp down but Bowling Green, KY is averaging 84 / 65 F (29 / 18 C) with 7.77 inches of precipitation so far in June, that might warm a shade the next 3 days.
Also, this year's weather pattern so far resembles a (somewhat toned-down) version of 2018, except for quite different Aprils.
January - in '18 slightly cooler than average / in '19 slightly warmer than average
February - in '18 and '19 much warmer than average and soaking wet
March - average precipitation, temperatures near-identical to February (in '19, the same down to the tenth of a degree)
April - the big difference; April '18 was cold, April '19 was warm
May - significantly warmer than average '18 and '19, '18 slightly warmer
June - warmer than average again, but '18 was warmer
Yes I do. Quote low. Anything above 80 starts to get uncomfortable if it's humid. Dry 86 begins uncomfortable for me as well. I don't have air conditioning here in the Pittsburgh area so unless it cools off I get no relief

I agree with you shalop. Sometimes you like too extreme of cold even for me, but as a whole I'm with you
