These two climates aren't considered favorable by many people. Which one do you think you would prefer?

Even with its climate flaws, Seattle is 100 times better.

Seattle by far, Moscow's winter looks horrifically bleak even if temps aren't so severe (imagine seattle would be sunnier even with an hrs correction), summer is also longer, warmer, and sunnier in seattle, not dropping off in august. Moscow otoh seems to have a lot of rain days during the season. Autumn is horrific in Moscow as well, even a lot of northern Minnesota and New England is milder in october.

Moscow is like a warmer, slightly nicer Edmonton. Pretty unpleasant and not my thing at all. Seattle may be grey and rainy but there's something about the cool Pacific coastal air and sea breeze that elevates it above any cold continental climate.

Seattle is better in every season. I actually think it's a great climate, if you're the kind of person who likes comfort instead of dramatic weather.

Seattle is better in every month except July. Easy win.

Looks like you did not travel much: your confirmation bias is showing
Pretty typical weather for Moscow: gorgeous fall! Glorious summers with occasional fast summer shower
Google Moscow New Year images- see for yourself.
Thank God for Google.
P.S.
Here, feed your bias- found an overcast summer day in Moscow - a walk. Everyone is wearing a fur coat and carrying an umbrella in case of rain...( Actually, looks like it is an evening...after the sunset)

Despite being much wetter, Seattle is surprisingly more sunny than Moscow in the winter...

Seattle wins, although it could be close if Moscow was 3-5C warmer in the winter and sunshine amount is more proportional to the dryness (i.e. less pure cloudy days with no rain/snow)
