Lows in 40s already happening around Grand Canyon. They get to 90 during day and high 40s at night.

Flagstaff should see them in September

Here in Phoenix, hopefully in November (usually end) but guaranted in Dec. Lows in 40s will last till Feb.

Any time of the year. In July and August, it could be observed several times or not but quite close to 10C lows even the warmest month.

I agree. We've been down to the low 50s F at night even with the 80s during the day, and I love it cooling off at night. My favorite time of year for weather is late September/early October when the high

stays in the low 70s, and night 40s, and yet not much rain yet. That's when I can spend a lot of time doing yard work.

Any time after September 10 would be fine with me, but I don't want the first snow to be before late November. However, after the first good snow (6" or more), I want it to stay white through February! (I am a true four-seasons kind of person.)

But not on typical nights til around September 25th. We don't average a low in the 40s til September 22nd but we certainly can expect it sooner. Have yet to see it happen in summer, though. (Latest 40s I've seen are in May)
February is fine.

Ideally I’d like 40’s to be possible but rare during the summer, first 40’s would normally occur in early September or late August.

In reality where I live the first night in the 40’s happens in mid-October (October 21st)

Are you talking Celsius? I would never want it to be 40 degrees F.

Prefer that it stays around 70 all year long.
