Instead of dragging the other thread along I figure make a separate thread for this storm which is rare for many.

Huge Cold Upper Low over the Pac NW producing snow now.
Note the snow moving "north". That's the Upper Low spinning as the ULL itself moves SouthEast. Pacific moisture being pulled in from California and Oregon





Strong words from NWS. Widespread damage could occur.

Finally, winter's here. It was overdue anyway, as it's end of September. It feels unnatural without the snow

Current Radar with a couple of storm reports::

5" of snow at 3500' in Washington.
6-8" in Montana with "Horizontal Snow".

Snowing in Great Falls now with wind chill value in the teens
