Finally had a few sunny days (around 4-5) but overall a very average September.



Average high: +0.0C from average
Average low: +0.2C from average

Highest min: 15.8C
Lowest max: 17.2C

A very dry, warm, sunny September. Hottest maximums at many stations in the Perth region while minima were around average.

Perth Metro:



High Max: 33.1C (9th)
Mean Max: 22.9C (+2.3C, hottest ever overtaking 22.5C in 2015)
Low Max: 15.6C (19th)

Mean: 16.25C (+1.2C)

High Min: 14.9C (14th and 30th)
Mean Min: 9.6C (+0.1C)
Low Min: 2.5C (7th)

Rainfall: 31.4mm (38% of average 82.8mm, driest September on record)
Rain Days: 6 (-8.6 days)
Sun: 274.5 hours
Sun hours/day: 9.1hrs/day (+1.3 hrs/day !)


Jandakot Airport:



High Max: 32.2C (9th)
Mean Max: 22.4C (+2.3C, hottest ever overtaking 22.2C in 2015)
Low Max: 15.3C (19th)

For more information on the averages and records broken this September! Also the 33.2C at Perth Metro was the 2nd hottest September day ever after 34.2C in 2014.

Whoa! Yeah, been watching your area and it was nuts with all those 90s. Record for September with 19.


Here's a look at the temp departure each week of September for U.S. We were below normal the 1st 3 weeks here, then torched for the last week which brought the average back to normal and above for some.

Vru station in 2019




Last year was definitely better despite the long winter, that cold March and December's sun hrs ( ).



If my region is the most continental one, Vilsandi on the coast is the most maritime one in the country.
