The warmest Halloween I recall was almost 70 F in the day, with "trick-or-treat" weather about 55 F, with an overnight low maybe mid 40's to 50 F.
The coldest Halloween I remember was about 40 F, with "trick-or-treat" weather between 28-30 F. Overnight low was probably no lower than 24 F.
Normally our Halloweens have highs between high 50's and mid 40's, with ''trick-or-treat" weather (evening, just after dark) typically between high 40's to somewhere just above freezing.
*My temperatures are from the past 25 years, or since early 1980's...
In Pittsburgh it seems to be rainy and cold every year on Halloween. Last year it sure was. Its tough to take kids out when its rainy and cool. My son was a dragon....it was a furry costume so it kept him a little warmer, but he quickly became cranky. Im hoping for better weather this year!!!!
Generally, Halloween in Texas is 70 - 80 in the day and usually around 65 or so at trick or treat time. It can vary wildly from that in either direction though.
It's really hard to say how it'll be here. Sometimes it's 50 degrees during the day and the night is mild. Other times it can be raining and 40 degrees that day. We have also had Halloween nights with snow on the ground and below freezing temps.
It is usually raining and a bit of a chill in the air. October usually has quite a bit of rain in it for us and the leaves have turned and are falling here and there.
Don't see that happening this year, unless something happens pretty soon.
It's still in the 80's most days with a few 70's thrown in for good measure. Lows are ranging from high 40's to low 60's. Go figure.
Guess we will end up having our winter weather for one or two months and just pray we don't have an ice storm.
Our lows have never gotten below the 60s aingel_writer. One time I think it was 63, so apparently you must live in Northern Mississippi, which is at the same latitude as where I grew up in southern/eastern Oklahoma. I know OkC and Tulsa have already seen lows in the 40s, but this week the temps have started shooting up around here for some reason.
Yup, North Mississippi, actually only around 80 miles from Memphis, TN, not far from Tupelo, MS.
And it is usally cool and wet and yuky on halloween night. I am just glad my kids do not trick or treat anymore. I'm terrible, but I hated all that mud and slush and such.

Gross! Do kids were rubber boots when they trick-or-treat there?
I'm in the suburbs so all driveways are hard, roads all paved. etc. Sometimes kids might get wet shoes cutting across people's lawns though.
Hot, humid and the trick-or-treaters all have "stinky-little-kid BO"...lol...under their costumes here in South Florida.
But, on the upside, our neighborhood turns into a huge street festival, we get hundreds of trick-or-treaters, and everyone sits out on lawn chairs in their driveways with the grills going and cold beer. It's like a mini Mardi Gras.
Oh yeah, and lots of people use golf carts (some of them with little trailers behind them) to get more candy faster...
Groups of the high school cheerleaders, dance teams, etc., come by and do impromptu performances. I'm not making ANY of this up...my grown daughter calls it "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood". One more thing - all the houses are decorated like crazy - 2 of them even have "haunted houses" in their garages. Floridians tend to go a little crazy with things like that; I guess cuz the weather's so good, you can just go on and on with it....
