Twiggy, I don't blame you. I was born here and this weather isn't for me either. Keep in mind that my area is actually warmer then it is in No. Dak. or Mn.

Twiggy - It's funny you are the opposite of me. When I lived in MA I wanted to experience something else. I always knew from a young age I was in the wrong place and I wanted to live somewhere on purpose - not just because I started there. I researched south Florida for two years, even subscribing to local newspapers. I found out everthing I could about Florida - and then I moved to Phoenix. I did not do much research on it but one visit and I knew I was home. If you ever get to move I hope yours works out as well as mine has(been here since 1995)
I know two people - natives to Phx - who have moved to cold climates and love it. I know three people from cold climates who moved to Phx - then back to cold and then back to Phx saying "what was I thinking". I guess whatever you did not grow up with sometimes seems more interesting.
Me - I am excited to get back to 100 degrees after our cool down.
You - probably think I am crazy.

Oh, I don't think you're crazy at all. I could handle 100 degrees. We are in search of that perfect spot for us to relocate to. I'm looking for warmth. The ideal area would be very similar to my own location, but much warmer in the wintertime and maybe even near a beach.
