YANGON, Myanmar (CNN) -- The death toll from the Myanmar cyclone is more than 10,000 people, Myanmar's Foreign Ministry office said Monday.

Survivors were facing their third night without electricity in the aftermath of the historic cyclone that also clogged roads with thousands of downed trees.

John, thank you for posting that link. Early this morning CNN was reporting 3000 to 4000 deaths. By 2 pm they'd learned there was over 10,000. Sad.

Just an update~there are now over 22,000 confirmed dead and 41,000 plus still missing.

That is insane. I cant imagine what those poor people are going through. My prayers go out to each and every one of them.
