This is about as bad as it gets for late June and early July

It's the summers of 1992, 2004, and 2009 all over again

Woa so much rain. Looks like a typical week in Northern Germany except that it's much warmer.

That's awesome man! It's also the first time I see a 40°C on a WO Paris forecast, no matter how far out. Let's see how it pans out.

Forecast is a tad hotter in central France still:

Holy ****! Every time I check it's upgraded. Could it get hotter still? The all time record must be under threat!

We are forecast 32C on the day you're forecast 37C. Our all time high is 34.4C, and I doubt we'll beat it, but to see 90F again would be awesome

40C in Paris. Awesome.

I doubt that it will happen though. Woeurope seems a little optimistic lately.

Yeah it's just awesome for western Europe!! This has not disappeared yet and I seriously wouldn't rule out us challenging our all time 38.5C record! Paris looks odds on to get 100F, we are walking on a thin line though.. if that trough out to our west moves much further east then we will miss out on it.. ideally we need the pattern to move westwards 200-300miles

I was quietly optimistic yesterday.. but now it is still appearing, I think somewhere in the UK must be at least odds on for a 35C which would be awesome still! Our ground is so dry and the sun is at its highest, so we have ideal conditions.. I really think that if this plays out right then we could seriously challenge our all time record high, yet alone our July one! That would be awesome after the terrible summers of 2007-2012
