I saw a TV show set in Chicago recently and the episodes frequently portrayed the city as a frozen icebox.

Movies always show non-stop heavy rain and thunderstorms in Seattle which don't even happen often.

I used to find it funny watching 'CSI: Miami', which was 99% filmed in Los Angeles, that they would hose everything down so every outdoor scene would have wet ground & they used an orange filter over the top half of the camera to try & make it look somehow more "tropical" Also the odd tropical pot plant randomly placed next to a bush here & there too lol...

Cold but sunny so not too bad.. WeatherOnline is sometimes bad at estimating sunshine though, yesterday was clear and today has been totally clear as well, way more than the 2.5 hours forecasted..

Based on the models, next week does look milder in West/Northwest Europe

It's like the 44C didn't even happen today.

Also not a fan of the two 20C days, but it's alright after that.
