Even if Finland is a small country with a large land area, commuting that distance would be completely insane. Everything above, say, 35 km is "far away".
yeah, 160 km is a huge distance to drive to work on a daily basis. At this point I'd just find a room to live on Mon-Fri.
I guess gas is super cheap in the US and tolls do not exist. That is roughly the distance I did from Lyon to Geneva, which cost about 15 euros x 2 for the highway toll, not counting the gas of course.
And yet the trolls on the Australian Weather Forum are banging on about how it was the hottest summer on record with high humidity. Yeah, 25C Failbruay average high and an average January at the official Melbourne station, record setting Queensland **** right there alright
Happy belated summer Melbourne, hopefully it lasts until May.
They're right, this summer was more humid. Just very average. Don't forget December though, that was a brilliant month.
How many ground frosts does London see in a year? I'm just looking at the low difference between the air and ground minimums and radiative cooling doesn't seem to be strong.
