The last 10 days of July and the first 10 days of August historically have the most consistent weather.

If the forecast is correct Tuesday will very likely be a yearly max given temps higher than that are pretty rare, don't like the look of those night temps though.

Hilary Clinton's beard that's hot!

I thought it was a nice sunny winter forecast, until I noticed the location! Ridiculous!
I experienced around 50C in Baghdad too, and that's a very big city.

No I wouldn't. If I think Phoenix is too hot in the summer why would I love Basra


Other than today forecast is proper summer for my tastes.

Yeah I do get very excited about heatwaves. So do our British and Northern European friends in the Europe thread Doesn't mean I want endless 50C+ temps like in Basra. Temps 32-35C for a few weeks in the summer would suffice. I love cold waves to in the winter, but that doesn't mean I want Yakutsk conditions. Lol
