Headline:

Sunny intervals, with isolated showers developing Tuesday.
This Evening and Tonight:

Any isolated showers dying out to leave it generally dry, with clear spells developing and with winds light. Areas of mist and perhaps some rural fog patches are likely later. Minimum temperature 13 C.
Tuesday:

A mostly cloudy or misty start but brightening up, with sunshine at times (at times meaning from 12:10 - 12:15 ). A few isolated but heavy showers likely to develop over Derbyshire in the afternoon. Warm. Maximum temperature 23 C.
Updated: 1643 on Mon 22 Jun 2009

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Dry, mostly sunny and warm but with some coasts cooler, with perhaps misty low cloud at times. Freshening easterly breeze. Risk of thundery showers by Friday.

Through to the middle of next week the weather is expected to be largely fine and warm in the North. The south runs the risk of of some heavy showers and thunderstorms at times, especially over central and southern parts of the England away from the East coast, where there will be an onshore wind making it rather cloudy at times. The afternoon temperatures away from these eastern coastal areas are expected to be either warm or very warm. Then as we move towards the middle of next week the weather will turn more unsettled. Cloudier conditions with either showers or more prolonged rain are expected to spread to all parts. However, there are also likely to be some brighter periods mixed in. Temperatures generally back to near average.

More showers and thunderstorms in the forecast through this week. Highs will be near seasonal averages as clouds and storms in the afternoon will bring a little cooler weather our way. Rain chances will be at 60% inland areas, and 40% near the coast.
