The National Weather Service Seattle office has issued a High Wind Warning for the Washington coast and northern interior, in effect from 6pm PST tonight to 4pm PST Tuesday.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A HIGH WIND
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM PST
TUESDAY. THE WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE HIGH WIND
WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

SURFACE WINDS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT THROUGH MON MORNING AS STRONG
SOUTH FLOW ALOFT INTERACTS WITH THE OLYMPICS. EXPECT SOUTHEAST
WINDS IN THE NORTH INTERIOR TO RISE TO 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
60 MPH LATER TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

WINDS WILL DECREASE LATER MONDAY AND MONDAY EVENING BETWEEN SYSTEMS.
THEN SOUTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 40 TO 50 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 70
MPH LATE MON NIGHT THROUGH MIDDAY TUESDAY.

A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS THAT A HAZARDOUS WIND EVENT IS IMMINENT

DESTROY PROPERTY. PEOPLE IN THE NORTH INTERIOR SHOULD BE PREPARED
