Well we certainly have different standards. Good summer temps start at 86 degrees or higher. Preferably 90 degrees. Dew Points 68-72 degrees to make it feel a little sticky. Sunshine during the day, convection at night

Im a bit north of my ideal summer location. St Louis would have my ideal summer....
Just like winter....there is quite a bit of spectrum on what is "nice" weather. I have little heat tolerance but can tolerate cold very well....so my ideal is going to be cooler than most.

My ideal summer weather is high 65 to 70 during the day with a north wind 10 mph and mid 40s at night.
Occasional rainy/cloudy periods.... But living where I do in ND/MN I am too far south and in the plains anyhow (U.S. or Canada) the swings are quite dramatic so I put up with the very warm periods in the summer to get to winter.

I love my summers toasty, and my winters icy

Your winters would be ideal IMHO

Those tastes are popular here but it sounds weird to me. More interesting, true, but not really interesting I want. I want weather that's not just interesting but I can enjoy doing things outside. I do like snow but it's not worth the long cold to me. And I guess heat is nice for swimming but it's not worth it. Here's my preference:

Also, do you own an A/C? That makes your love of hot summer weather more understandable.

I don't know anyone who doesn't have an A/C. Central or portable...

Really? I never have, at least since I left my parent's house. Maybe it'll more sense why I find the hottest summer days irritating. My place is closed up half the year because of winter, I'd like to have fresh air the remainder if possible.

Really... Nobody.

And I used to work in HVAC from 1990-1995. Got out of the business during that hearwave in July of '95.

Relatively cool night for the mid-South tonight. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s when they should be in the low to mid 70s. Wouldnt be surprised to see a few upper 50s in rural areas.

Neipolis is my favourite fictional climate on here (apart from mine).
