I'm going here next week for a couple of days. I fear that the combination of the too warm lows and sunshine will destroy me.

I hope the sea will be refreshing though. It's at about 26c now with the temperature steadily climbing.

No, no, I'm not hoping for 32C for 7 days in a row, it's not gonna happen. But 25-27C and sunny would be realistic when looking back at summers in the 2000s.

if 25-27c for 7 days in a row can happen in UK (like its happening right now) then its also possible in Finland :P

Well, southern Finland is warmer in July than most of the UK (i.e outside of southern England, mostly the SE at that). It's not much different in June and August.

With the possible exception of the South East, there isn't much difference. Summers here are a bit longer yes, but generally very similar temperature wise.

Dunno beat me to it!

Finland is also a lot sunnier during summer. We'd perhaps be a couple of degrees warmer if we had as much Sun as they do.
