What needs to happen is for the high to position itself so as to bring a continental deep fetch south easterly to get something statistically interesting to happen. So far we haven't even beaten the temp of July 1 st 2009 which was a crap summer. We better bloody had do tomorrow.

i know right... the weather is nice and sunny, but its mid 20's to high 20's everywhere with occasional 30 here and there for the lucky few, but really these temperatures are not that exceptional. they are nowhere near as hot as july 2006 to which this summer is being compared to so much

This month will be remembered for the consistency of the temperatures, rather than how extreme the temperatures were IMO. On the latest run, the low is slower to form, meaning less of a plume. Just one run though.

Well i'd rather have this than like 30c for two days and the good thing about this is because it is like 24-27c most days.

Above average, nothing to shout about. "Cool" at the weekend but still a bit above average.

Looks like staying hot & sunny through to the end of next week & the BBC shows the potential of some very hot weather, not that I care as I'll be in Malta anyway
