No change here from the last couple of weeks. Most days in the low 20's C, brief downpours and not much sun.

Yuck. After months of good weather, our time has come.

Wednesday A chance of rain, mainly after 11am. Patchy fog before 8am. Areas of frost before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 11. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 10 km/h in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2.5 mm possible.
Wednesday Night Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 0. Northwest wind 5 to 8 km/h.
Thursday Sunny, with a high near 9. West wind 5 to 10 km/h increasing to 18 to 23 km/h in the afternoon.
Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around -1.
Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 9.
Friday Night Mostly clear, with a low around -2.
Saturday Partly sunny, with a high near 11.

BBC Weather - Yeovilton

The usual mild, showery October. It hasn't really changed all month.
There was also a warning for tornados on the radio earlier too. Now that would certainly make it interesting!

You might have cold winters, but at least you're rewarded with a very good summer season! I'd happily swap!

Beautiful frosty mornings followed by mild sunshine is perfect October weather in my books. The only downside is that the grass ends up wet due to frost or drew, but that's only a minor point. I'd certainly trade with you - you can have our wet, mild weather.
