What are the monthly rainfall totals? Is it just drizzle or heavy rain, too. We've gotten rain two days straight. Not used to water in the liquid form anymore. Nice break from the cold coming up this weekend:
It's a real mixed bag - some proper soakings, some night-time showers which I haven't noticed because the days have been dry. It hasn't felt that excessive, since a lot of the rain has happened at night, or maybe I'm just used to it now. 142.4 mm this month if I've added all that up right, versus 172 mm last month.
Averages are supposedly 87 mm for January and 65 mm for February, though the Met Office anomaly maps reckon my area has only had 130-150% of average rainfall this winter, so I don't know what's going on there. No floods here like we had in November 2000, but I went and tried out my new walking boots today on one of the trails I've known all my life and I have never seen it covered in so much mud and standing water (should have taken my camera!). Looking at those temperatures, we didn't break 50 F last month either, but this month we might not break 50 or 30!
Yay arctic weather. Not like we're coming up on March or anything
