Hi....70 or cooler during which season? cause The Seattle WA- Puget Sound area has great temperatures that don't usually drop below 55 degrees in the winter and rarely get above 80 in the summer....and it is a gorgeous place to live.

ummm, even right now Seattle is only 52 degrees June and it definitely drops below 55 in winter, 55 degrees would be a close a record high in winter. Seattle has 5 months where the average high is 55 or below.

If you want 50's and 60's year round where the temp doesn't go above 70 then try the Northern CA coast, it's usually 50's and 60's year round. SF spends most of the year in the 50's and 60's.

Although this is not typical June weather here in Seattle, it does regularly drop below 55 in winter. 55 wouldn't be out of the question, but it is definitely not a regular occurence, at all. Typically the high/low in the dead of winter is going to be 45/35. Between June and the middle of Septemer, its usually going to stay within the 80/60 range.

Well this depends on the season. I'm going to assume that since your preference is in the 'cooler' direction that you mean the summer. Basically, you have two wide regions with summer temperatures in the 70s and cooler: The pacific coast, and high altitude rocky mountain towns. Since you're moving from MO, the cost of living issue is likely to price you out of the coast, so you might consider small cities in MT, WY, or ID or CO such as Vail, Gunnison, missoula, or others. However, lots of these cities are expensive as well.
