Default Perth Storms/Tornado

Yesterday saw a tornado hit the hills area east of Perth, there was flash flooding and gusty winds.

WELL, now I'm wishing I'd have memorized the conversion charts when I was in school, but back in the 60s, we had no idea we'd ever need to remember things like that.

I am sorry to hear that you've had such threatening weather. You probably are aware that a huge section of the U.S. has been experiencing terrible floods, too. Wonder what's up with all that.

38mm= roughly 1.5 inches of rain

for the farmers to 200km East of Perth, But for Perth we have had many 40mm+ storms this year already! including 72mm in 6 hours

last Australian summer the east coast had terrible floods, one place had 700mm in 24 hours that is hard to beat!
