This is the NWS source for the Mitchell? Municipal Airport near your vicinity.

National Weather Service : Observed Weather for past 48 Hours : Mitchell Municipal Airport

The key is to check what the temperature dropped to between overnight hours. The low for Mitchell would be 60F last night recorded at 4:53 and 5:53 AM according to the obs.
