Here in the Pacific NW I like the fall for a couple of reasons. One, we get some nice mild days with crisp cool nights, and two, the kiddies are back in school, making it safe to venture out and enjoy the area again.
My favorite season is Fall. However; living in Southern California, the begining of Fall isn't much different than Summer. We have to wait until almost the beginning of November before we get Fall like weather; cooler temps.
Summer is my favorite. I like late Spring too because it warms up and you know it will get warmer. Early spring is too cold and feels like winter. I don't like fall in New England because you know summer is gone and it will only get colder. Winter is my least favorite season.
I voted for summer, but as I've gotten older, I've started to appreciate spring time. I just enjoy wearing shorts and being able to leave the doors open at night. I love summertime thunderstorms (as long as the trees don't fall down around us!). It can be a bit humid, but everything else about summer is perfect.
I like spring because it's like a revival. Flowers and trees start to bloom and everyone is in a pleasant mood. It also means summer vacation is getting closer! Our springs seem to only last a few weeks though.
I love all the seasons, but Winter is my favorite because I love SNOW, it reminds me of hope and promise of what is to come.
I also love Spring because it so pretty and life is starting again. Summer, because of the 4th of July (a favorite holiday of mine). Fall because of the color here in Virginia.
I LOVE Autumn. I love the colors, the temperatures, the scents, everything about it.
