We've been in the single digits above zero since the middle of January here in Northern VT. Those are daytime highs. Nights have all been below zero with tomorrow's predicted low to be -20 f. Not too unseasonable for around here, but the wind is making it seem quite a bit colder. At least it's been sunny and there ain't no mosquitoes!
We got four feet of snow dumped on us last night. That's on top of the two feet already on the ground and they predict more every day for the forseeable future. Temps in the low teens with windchill below zero.
I just came inside from enjoying 61F out on my deck in bright sun! It was covered in snow yesterday, along with everything else, and today all the snow is GONE now and I got to put a towel on the deck and reflect sunlight back into space! ! Tomorrow..freezing again, but today is a welcome, welcome respite from what has been the coldest winter so far in years.
