I know snow can be a real pain, but I love it, so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, here in "Hot" Houston it's 68 and I'm sure that sounds pretty good to you folks with the snow, but I don't like it. I love cold weather. It's 35 in Maggie Valley right now and I'd much rather be there. When we were there a few weeks ago I would sit outside in morning and drink my coffee and was 15 degrees, I only had on a bathrobe and slippers. The humidity is so much better there, the cold is not like it is in Houston. I just hope for colder days here but as Spring approaches I know my chances for cold weather going away

We are moving back to Maryland soon, I did AZ for 9 months, but have decided I am just not a SW woman. Sun gets old after awhile! I need my cold. Besides better job for hubby there.

Here's pictures from outside the house. I couldn't find the mailbox. Can't get out of the driveway either. Oh well.

That would drive me INSANE!!!!!! I get upset if we get 4" here as even then I have trouble in my light truck. What you're living under is .....horrific! We went from under freezing yesterday with snow (nothing compared to that!) everywhere to no snow at all today and the mercury hit 67F!!!! I went onto the deck when the snow had retreated enough and nude sunbathed! It was wonderful!
Being literally buried though as you are....I think I'd develop emotional problems very quickly.

momark
I think you were a tad warmer than we were
here is tonite and tomorrows forecast

Tonight: mostly clear. Patchy frost late in the night. Lows in the mid 30s inland, upper 30s coast. Southwest winds 5 mph.
Wednesday: mostly sunny and warmer. Highs around 70. West winds 10 to 15 mph.

mid 30's in the morning then up to 70
so I will do my 4 mile walk at 6:15 am bundled up then later I will be in shorts
weird huh

the one thing I miss about the snow is how quiet everything is right after a snowfall.
karla

We had highs in the 50's today. It's been a while since we've had rain strangely enough. We are expecting rain tommorow and I am looking forward to seeing some raindrops. My plants and lawn are getting dry and that's not happened to me since I moved here.
People do expect the northwest to be wet ,but it's not been happening.
