Mine is so boring compared to some of the responses in here, but it was -7 in Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado. Here at home, the coldest was 3F.

It was in 1985-86, I think, it got down to -40 in Denver...and once up in Colorado ski country it was -50. I had a nearly new Toyota Tercel and she started right up in -40 weather...no problem at all.

When I was skiing at Hunter Mountain in upstate NY a few years ago. It was about -5 F at the bottom of the mountain but probably at least a few degrees colder at the top (not to mention windier). I kept running inside for a hot chocolate after every run.

I think about -14 was the lowest temp. I have ever experienced.

It was about -14 F on a cross country ski trip I did in the higher mountains around here.

the coldest temp i have experienced was at mount baker washington state at the ski lodge in 1981.. don't realy know what the temp was but there was up to 6 feet of snow in some places. it was fun though it was the first real big snow i ever experienced. i would not want to get lost up there on baker mountain.. wen't to rainer mountain too

-35 F in Missoula, MT...my company is based there, and I was up there one Jan a few yrs ago...I was told that is a normal occurance in winter time...I don't know how people can live in that...in Ohio growing up, it was -29, but there was no wind unlike in MT.

-44 F In Fairbanks, Alaska. It was in December 1980 and the average temperature for the month was about -30 F.
