Default Strong tornadoes possible today

The moderate risk has been issued for south-central KS and northern OK for this afternoon and evening, with a 15% hatched area for strong tornadoes across the same area.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR LONG LIVED SUPERCELLS INCLUDING POSSIBLE STRONG TORNADOES AS THEY TRACK THRU MOISTURE/INSTABILITY AXIS THIS EVENING DUE TO ENHANCED LOW LEVEL SHEAR IN THE VICINITY OF SECONDARY SURFACE WAVE(Storm Prediction Center)

Shall be interesting to see what develops.

Severe weather in November, meh...I'm worried about bigger things this time of year. Just started pouring right after I typed that, however...now hailing. That's a sign of no tornadoes though.

Unfortunately there seems to be quite a bit of wild weather in the center of the country right now. Must be time to move.

November is a rather active month for tornadoes. In fact several devestating tornadoes have occured during this month.

Yes it is.....probably since there's still warm air in the south and colder air masses affect the north.....and they clash.

You hit the nail on the head.

Tomorrow morning marks the 3 year anniversary of the Evansville, Indiana tornado, which killed 25 people.
