It's the equvalent of saying that Melbourne in October is still colder than Brisbane in June.

WHich is true of course.

At the moment, Brisbane's LOW temps are the same as our HIGH temps.

Well, if the whole earth warms 20 Celcius (36 F) we'll be having the last laugh.

(I swear, parts of it look like the Appalachians, only with sub-Arctic plantlife)

London was warmer than normal this past summer, wasn't it?
