Tomorrows forcast high for San Antonio, TX is 75 degrees F!
Generally, I wish that we have more of a winter down here, but I've been watching the news/ weather and all of the record -30F lows in Minnesota and such, and it's times like this that I love the climate we have.
So yes... If any of "y'all" are looking for a break, head south!

Well, we have been in the 40's, some near 50, for the past few days, and I for one will be glad to get back to normal temps and some snow. I'll take the cold and snow any day over the heat.

I don't enjoy the winter. We had a very cold spell in Dec. and just got through with one. We're having about a 5 day reprieve and then back in the freezer again.

I don't mind winter, although I prefer when you don't get the vast swings, from 30's to 0! If January was consistently in the 20's, I'd be very happy!
We're having a few "warm" days but headed for the deep freeze again as Jammie said.

Me, me~Pick me!!! Right now we're going through a very nice warmup, but I'll trade you starting Thurs. night! Actually, your summers may be just a bit more humid then I like. I've never been to Houston, but I'm using it in comparison to Fla. since it's probably fairly similar. IMHO you probably wouldn't like some of my winter days either~some of them, maybe but not the extremely cold days and nights. Can we find a middle climate?

You've actually had temps a few times too cold even for me! I still think you would love Houston.

Enjoying it just fine. Thanks for asking. Actually it hasn't been real cold here at all. 2 nights is all it has dropped below 0 here. Further away from Lake Michigan it has been colder and on the West side it has gotten colder, but along the Eastern Shore of the lake it tends to moderate the weather and we don't get the bitter cold. During the summer it tends to keep the blistering temps at bay as well. There can be a 15 degree temp difference within 20 miles of the Lake, both Summer and Winter.

This weather reminds me of why this is my last winter here. It's actually supposed to warm up tomorrow and Friday. 35 and 38 degrees is warm compared to what we've been getting, just to give you an idea of how cold it is here. 38 degrees is too cold for my liking, but give me 38 over the -2 we had on Saturday morning.
