You both feel you didn't get a real winter,
how would y'all like a January extreme maximum temp of 38 F
an extreme minimum low of -17 F
average monthly daytime high/low of 21/6 F
80 hours of sunshine out of 250 hours of monthly daylight hours
and 30 inches of snow that takes its sweet time to go anywhere?

LOL! We'll be right there! No, seriously, that would be a little extreme even for me, I have to admit. But I would prefer much, much colder than Texas usually is! (I detest hot weather and am not much even on "warm." I just feel better when it's cold...go figure.)
I understand totally. I actually feel much better when it's warm. Health issues and my mood improve tremendously with warm weather. I hate being cold.
NOW, would I be happy with the extreme heat in Dallas? I dunno. It might get old after a couple months. I love humidity, BUT if Houston is comparable to central Fla., it is a bit too humid.
That's the same for those of you who live way south and want colder weather. I really don't think you'd like it as cold as it gets up here, BUT something central would probably be ideal for all of us. The main problem with that is that central areas of the country are plagued with ice storms and that's not good either. HMMMM, I'm thinking about some tropical island for all of us. Hawaii anyone? Oh, sorry~reality set in and I just realized I can't afford to life there.

Oh Jammie if only the humidity were just a couple of months!!!
