I find it more surprising how much has melted.
(300 inches equals 25 feet  )
We've probably had 55 inches this winter so far (estimate)
and we still have a minimum snow depth of 10 inches everywhere,
(in the shallowest places)
Piles on the corners of intersections are between 3-6 feet tall;
many residential intersections you cannot see oncoming traffic unless your driver's seat is at least 3 feet off the ground. (fullsize pickup or taller)
Actually, driving a minivan, you can usually see the rooftops of oncoming traffic, but that's it.
In a car you don't see anything coming sometimes.
There ought to be a law about piling snow that way but it seems there isn't.

The video didn't work for me, but what's the big deal? Redfield, NY averages around 200 inches a year. That's normal up there. The 600 people living in that tiny town are used to it.
Redfield is located just south of the dark blue shaded area shown on this map:

In an entire SEASON, but 300 inches by late January is A LOT...........by Late January you are only about 55% through winter.

Hey there, dxi!
Yes, it is a lot, but normal for that area. We used to live in Orwell, which is east of Pulaski and north of Syracuse. I think it's in the dark blue area on bellafinzi's map.
I used to tell friends that the snow ( not the snow drifts) was nearly to the roof - we lived in an old two story farmhouse - they didn't believe me! Wish I could send them that video....
