Good point, Jammie! We've discussed that before, too! Somone used to warm weather might say its 50and cold. Here people are in shorts, tee shirts, already wearing sandals for 50 degrees!
I met my sister for breakfast awhile back 4 people got out of Florida car with all these layered clothes, what a riot! I had a sweatshirt, no jacket they asked aren't you cold, hmmm not really!

They said it was in the 30's when we left the motel! We've never been here in May we thought it would be warmer! I wonder how they felt when they got to Marquette and saw snow!!!
I think it depends on a personal opinion. I don't think its age or gender unless people can't tollerate cold as they age. What people can afford, where they work, maybe family is what matters. I can do hot weather, I don't like it, dry or humid, 90 is not my friend. On the cold side, damp bugs me more than really chilly and we do get damp, dreary days in the fall when the lake is warm and cool air moves in, fog and damp, not pretty!
