Today has been quite an eventful day weather wise here in New Zealand, we've had one of the bigger hail storms people can remember up in the Bay of Plenty. Here is a link

Wow, Matty!!! I hope everyone turned out ok there. And that's hail??? At first I thought it looked like you'd had several inches of snow.

In real life, I don't think I've ever even seen enough hail to hide the grass.

Yup thats hail, it was an amazing scene, espiscally for Tauranga.

Hail!!! Sure looks like snow! A long - lasting hailstorm lasting 45 minutes! That must be a record for NZ?
