We get worse winds than that in England regularly. In fact, we had a tornado here in Lincoln last Sunday.
That was an F1 at best, no snapped trees. Still the guy is a fool.

i've been in winds ranging from 100 mph to over 200+ in hurricane hugo's eye wall 1989 for like 12 hours of destuction and me my mother and brother and dog almost died in that storm... i have been in 5 major hurricanes. i love hurricanes hate the aftermath..

Just saw the video.. and what an idiot! Definitely agree this how NOT to chase a storm.
While there are no official guidelines to chasing, I find this one the best example to lead on:

I've been closer than this fellow to a twister but not because I tried to be. I find it hard to believe anyone chases these things. It's sort of like snake-handling.
Anyone want to see a tornado, come stay with me a week in Hale County, Texas. I can almost guarantee you'll see one in the spring. Bring a camera and a backbone. I have the storm cellar.
