Hey Suzanne, good luck with the house sale. We'll be thinking about you.

WELL, I'm happy that the work week is over and the weekend is here. I'm also feeling a bit better about our weather. It's only 30 degrees and our windchill is 19, BUT earlier the winds were roaring, the snow/ice was flying, and our windchill was down to 14. Oh how I love early autumn.
It's 52 above here and humid.

ILNC, I hope you'll be posting from NC when you get a chance. You just got me wondering~should we have a "Picture" thread for Weather? I've seen snowy pics or cloud pics posted in several posts here throughout time. I'm a picture addict so it's hard for me to know if it'd really be an enjoyable thread.

Any input???
Would love to post pictures, but...............I still haven't figured that out yet

Would you prefer Toronto's "gloom?"

Our mild temps might make us seem attractive, even though it's often dark in the daytime.
We have yet to see a morning low below 37 F within 10 miles of our side of Lake Ontario.
Our meteorologists have yet to speak the word "windchill."

(Next week we might get our first frost though, and a high in the low 40's F. )

Hi all you have to watch this youtube video, I am telling you it is a great cure for any kind of blues. This video (among many good hearted animal video's) puts a HUGE smile on my face, it is simply adorable. Enjoy:

Very happy that we've had a lot of unsettled weather, 90 mm of rain so far this month (already exceeded the average) and about time after the awful and horribly dry months of August/September. Also been much colder than usual with plenty of cloud

I'm happy that we are going out to a southern style breakfast buffet and then grocery shopping and then coming back home to snooze in the AC.

I love this thread. Kinda funny cause I've often heard that several parts of Alaska are warmer then here.

I'm just happy that we're supposed to hit 40 degrees today. The snow/ice/sleety thing stopped last night and the sun is shining. It was CHILLY this morning when I got up. The real temp was 25, but the windchill was back down to 15 again and it's only the start.

We are going to have a warmup the middle of next week though.

As for posting pics~

Get an acct. at Photobucket. (That's the only one I can help you with.)

Upload your pics.

Choose your pic and copy the very last option.

Come here to your post and paste it. And voila!!! There's a pic!!!

Have a great Saturday, everyone.

Oh, and PS~glad I don't live in North Platte, Neb. They got a foot of snow and broke their all time record low this morning.
