I'm happy that Monday's almost over!! It's in the mid 20's today! Not quite a heat wave.

I'm happy that despite our temperatures being maybe 5-8 F below-average, (highs from 18-23 F or -8 C to -5 C)
the past three days in a row have been mostly-clear and VERY bright.
Occaisional afternoon calm spells felt spring-like in the noticeably-stronger February sun.

Our family lost an elderly member a couple of days ago. We went to the funeral this morning in bitterly cold weather.

Of course I am not happy about someone dying. But I am happy she lived into her 90s and was loved by many people.

I'm happy for the cool weather but about went into shock when the forecast came out with more below freezing weather for a night followed by even more nights in the upper thirties.

I'm happy that we got a break from the predicted snow/ice that was forecast for our area (NW NC). We ended up with a few snowflakes this morning, and then a steady rain all day.
Happy it's supposed to clear up for the weekend!
Happy to be warm and safe in my own home.
