Nice rig you got there . Where are you going camping??
Thanks!!! We're going down the road, a bit to Guad. River St. Park. He's setting it up, then going to a Lions meeting and we'll meet up @ 8 P.M. when it cools off.
I'm happy the temp is in the lower 80°'s already because of wide spread rain around us. None here yet bet maybe some to yet come our way. On top of that I just had some very good ham that must have eaten a lot of good cornbelt corn.
OMG CC, I'm with you. It's right around the corner, but it's not the most dreaded month. That comes later.
BUT it's still summertime here. Well, sort of.
Hey, the weekend is nearly here.
October is usually much worse;
mostly disappointing and it sets the mood for the next 4-5 months.
In early October I'm still getting over the shock of "losing summer."
(a few weeks back is still fresh in my mind)
By the end October, I'm back to "survival mode."
Maybe my attitude stinks, ()
but once I feel "definitely cold,"
it usually doesn't matter to me (mentally) "how cold" I am.

I would find some fun things to do in the winter so you can look forward to it.
