Hey Sweetie, I love that peace sign. I was going to get a necklace that had that. It reminds me of my younger days. I'm sort of middle aged now, but I still have a lot of the "flower child" mentality.

Nomad, you really do know what the most important things in life are.

AHHH, another beautiful day with no work and summer isn't quite over yet.

We went to the State Fair yesterday and enjoyed it. We saw Kory and the Fireflies and they're a local South Dakota band. You may have possibly even heard of them. Not exactly our kind of music, BUT we did enjoy their songs and they're wonderful musicians. I can see why they are so well liked

THEN we saw Foreigner. Absolutely fabulous band. We're into music that is just a bit older then that, BUT they were excellent.

Tonight we're going to two more concerts. The Guess Who is playing. We have only seen them once before and they're a good band. They're out of Canada and are most famous for "American Woman". Kind of an insult to American women, BUT they preface the song with how we're sister countries and there is no bad will between us, etc. It was actually written at a very turbulent time so all is well.

THEN one of my all time favorite bands is playing~The Grass Roots. They have some of my favorite songs. HMM Guess I like "Two Divided by Love" the best. We've seen them a few times and enjoyed them each time.

We went to the beer gardens looking for a member from our state who plays in a band, but couldn't find him. The beer garden was FULL of people so we left.

Anyway, who'd have thought I'd write a book in the "Happy" thread?

Have a great day, everyone!

Happy that it didn't hail on my truck when driving through a very heavy rain earlier today.

Wishing all a peaceful weekend!
