Yeah no kidding! Record low of Melbourne is only -2.8C! That must look like paradise coming from Winnipeg!

Definitely, but if I did make a move it would be to somewhere warmer than Melbourne.

I am pretty happy with my climate, although I want to move to, or perhaps attend university in an Anglophone country, preferably New Zealand. It has nothing to do with climate though.

I'm overall pretty happy with the weather we have since I live in SE Washington State and I love having 4 distinct seasons, I'm not liking the cold nights we've been getting since it's in the middle of October but it'll warm up soon, I thought this past summer's weather was the nicest summer we've had since 2011

I’m meh. I grew up rather spoiled by California’s mild climate. Winters in my part of Texas aren’t that harsh, but I’m not excited for winter. Summers are brutal though.

No, but most places have somewhat poor weather. Seattle isn't that bad of a climate if you compare it to all the different climates in the world. It's very mediocre but I wouldn't say it's too far from an average climate.

The main issue is that it's just too cool year-round due to having chilly winters and weak summers. It's really only cloudy compared to most of the US. It rains quite a bit in terms of the amount of time it's raining, but I don't consider that or the clouds to be the main problem.

The weather definitely isn't bad enough to keep me away from here, but it is a consideration.

I dont like the climate of where I live ( izmit)

It has boring temperatures throughout the year. It is far from being a fun climate.

The hottest it gets in summer is 34s and the coldest it gets in winter is a few degrees below zero.

However, there is a nearby ski resort which is very snowy. 2 years ago in January, snow depth reached 250 cm for instance.

That is a good opportinity for İzmit.

I like the climate that I live in because it has 4 seasons, year-round precipitation, and has relatively long snowy winters. I also appreciate the frequent cloudy days in winter, fall and early spring Summers generally don't get hot and the shoulder seasons are fairly long.

If I couldn't live here I would consider places like Caribou, ME or Watertown, NY. Lake Placid, NY is also a nice choice. Dfc climates also appeal to me in particular Labrador City and St. John's Labrador/Newfoundland.

No desire to move; I've done enough of that over the years!
