Susan, you could extend your boundary by one state and you'd live where I do.

Lately we've had way too much rain in the Northeast, but I know it's not the norm and I love this part of the country way too much to leave.

I think NYC is just a tad too cold for me in winter but otherwise it is not so bad. I think if I moved it would be either to the West Coast or the south of the Mid-Atlantic region (DC, MD, DE, or VA). Climate alone would not be sufficient.

For the most part I don't like the weather here. The winters are a general waste, it's too cool (espcially with the constant wind) to enjoy do all season activities and too warm to enjoy winter activities. I love big snow storms which we never get. Constant cold for months on end may get old, so that's why places like Colorado sound great to me. Spring is pretty nice, things green up in early April and the temperatures are pleasant, mild days and cool nights. But there is always the threat of tornadoes. I'm used to them but they are just an inconvenience it would be nice not to have. Summers suck, need I say more. Highs have been 90+ for the last 18 days and show no signs of stopping. Typical "lows" in the low 70's too. It's generally humid too, not oppressive but it's there and certainly doesn't help. Fall is the only season that would keep me in Oklahoma. By October it's generally in the 70's, occasionally 60's and even 80's. Nights cool down to the 40's and 50's again. Humidity is low and the winds aren't out of control. Lot's of sunshine too.
So to sum it up the two things I do like about our weather is abundant sunshine and pleasant Falls.

New Hampshire the Northeast sucks. Its winters are long, cold, northeasters', summers are short, not hot, you may have 1 or 2 heat waves. I like it generally in the mid 80's low humidity like NM, Night would be 40F or 50F. I do have dreams.
New Mexico sounds good to me.

I hate this heat sooooo much!!!!! Just look at how hot it's been here:
History : Weather Underground
Then look at June and each time you go back a month, it will show we've been this hot since May. Go to February and look at the last 4 days. GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!!! My move to Colorado got pushed back until next year, unless I choose Lakewood over Pueblo. I'm really thinking Lakewood now

Most of the time I hate the weather in New York City. My favorite seasons are Summer and Spring. I hate Winter because a lot of the time its sunny but cold. I hate Fall because I don't like the fact that summer is going away. Summer has yet to arrive because the highs are only in the upper 70's and low 80's, I like when the lows are around 80° and the highs are around 100°. I wish there was a way to relieve Texans of that heat and bring it to the Mid-Atlantic.
