I am not very fond of the weather that we experience in Dallas. Texas weather in general is just weird! One day, it can be really hot, and then the next day, it's cold outside! Or not getting a single drop of snow until March(happened about 2 years ago). The summers here are really hot and the winters are really cold(which I am use to). I miss the weather we had back when I lived in NYC(where I am from). There was much more consistency and the summers were not as hot!

detest the extreme heat in Dallas, and would like to move some place cooler but we have deep roots here now and I don't think we will be moving. If we do, it won't be because of weather.

I guess cold is in the eye of the beholder, I wouldn't even associate cold or snow with Dallas!

According to my thick weather statistics book, Dallas averages 38 days a year with temps below 32

Average high and low for the coldest month ( January) is 54 and 33
Atlanta GA is 50 and 32.

Yup, "really cold" is in the eye of the beholder.

Then look at June and each time you go back a month, it will show we've been this hot since May. Go to February and look at the last 4 days. GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!!! My move to Colorado got pushed back until next year, unless I choose Lakewood over Pueblo. I'm really thinking Lakewood now
Lakewood is colder than Pueblo. If you want to go somewhere cold, Lakewood would be a win win. You get to go somewhere colder and you get to move sooner.

cold is definitely in the eye of the beholder!!! here in the us vi the coldest temps are like 68f in december and january anything below 65f is cold in my book and any temp that is 85f or higher is hot in my book!!! the hottest year here in the us vi was 2005 a long humid hot year with temps reaching 96f.. the water in 2005 was so warm that it wiped out like 80 percent of the coral in the carribean.. i can't imagine living in a place that gets over 105f heat waves... i guess if you like consistency you can't beat the weather in the carribean.. i hate hot humid weather and i hate freezing weather too.

Hated Memphis weather when I lived there! They hit 100F a few weeks ago!
Record temps there for July and August look surprisingly like the record temps for Houston, not a day under 100F Wasn't crazy about the weather in Houston when I lived there either.
Moved to the mountains of TN, it's much better here! So far this year, we have yet to break 90F.

I hate the weather in New England, NH. It is very unpredicable to believe the weather stations. You close your eyes and it changes.
